Riding Lessons are designed solely with the student in mind. Monty's teach flat, showing, showjumping, dressage, Western, bareback and stunt riding. Instructors are highly qualified. Taught by the famous instructor Patrick Delaney and was Mark Todd's groom during Uni days. Children lessons are fun, safe and exciting. Adults learn new skills or improve old. We want our students to keep an open mind, and have fun throughout their experience at Monty's Equestrian Centre. We teach toddler to elders. No age restrictions, weight limit is 13.5 stone.
Beginner Lesson
Monty's ensure that Beginner Lessons are safe and students gain confidence. If you have had a previous bad experience elsewhere you can be assured you are in safe hands on safe horses and ponies. We train horses and ponies to work of the leg and voice in a calm environment. Students both adults and children enjoy their lesson and whether you want to ride professionally or for fun you will have an amazing experience. Whether your young or older we will ensure you are matched to a horse or pony and progress at your own pace using BHS standard of riding.
Ride and Road Safety Lessons
Our Student's Safety is paramount at Monty's Equestrian Centre. Once Students have learned how to halt, walk, trot (gaits) and are confident in the Menage, students progress to Ride and Road Safety. Every lesson is to BHS standards. We use advanced teaching methods to activate the minds of our students, and help them absorb all of the information presented.
Pony Club Days during all school holidays
Pony Days are during school holidays 10.30 till 2:00 pp (please provide a packed lunch). We have pony club every Sunday throughout the year
Children have a wonderful fun packed day learning how to care, groom and look after their pony. Children are taught stable management, how to tack up and have a lesson. Make new friends and become part of Monty's Team. Children are in a safe environment where their safety is paramount. Riding hats are provided at small cost. Please ensure your child wears comfortable clothing and footwear with small heel.

Beach Treks and Country hacks
Monty's Equestrian Centre is located close to the beach and Holland Haven Country Park. We offer beach hacks and hacks in the Country Park. Beach hacks and country park hacks are exciting and exhilarating, whether its a treat for a special occasion or just because...... you will have a wonderful experience and if you want to get your toes wet, you can go into the sea and enjoy and have fun on safe Ponies and Horses.
Depending on your experience, duration of Beach Hacks are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes Country Park
Prices are £100 Beach Hack and £50 Courty Park Hack.
Western and Bare Back Riding
If you have ever wanted to try Western, barrel racing and/or bareback or you have already acquired these skills, Monty's Menage is a safe place to do so. Monty's is fully insured to teach these fun and amazing different riding skills.
Pony Club every Sunday 10.30 - 1
Children from 6 years and over can take part in our wonderful Pony club.
Children are taught stable management, groom, how to tack up, bathe a pony, diet and nutrition for different breeds and have a wonderful time and our part of Monty's Team.
2.5 hours of fun, learn stable management, how to care for a pony. Each week it alternates week one lesson in menage, week two hack out, week three gymkhana. Monty's Leaders and Instructors interact with the children ensuring they have a wonderful experience . Riding hats are provided at small charge. Please ensure your child/children wear comfortable clothing and footwear with small heel.
Smiling faces are guaranteed at Monty's.
Cost £30 per child.
Every Sunday from 10.30 till 1. Please provide packed lunch.
Snack/packed lunch optional.
Birthday Parties
Monty's Team make a Birthday to remember. Groom and ride the ponies followed by birthday cake and fun and games. Monty's provide table and chairs in the barn for host to dress up as they wish. Have a most enjoyable, wonderful Birthday Party at Monty's.

Own a Pony Days during School holidays. Own a Pony Days consist of stable management, grooming and a lesson. Children are treated with respect and kindness and have a wonderful day. All our horses and ponies are trained by our professional team and are calm and placid. Children will leave with a sense of achievement, pride and accomplishment.

Students are taught by highly qualified BHS staff. The yard is family run and equines and farm animals have been in the family for centuries,
Excel in horse riding
Whether its for a career or for fun Adults, children and disabled riders are welcome. Learn the correct gaits, transitions and correct diagonals. As well as English riding, Monty's offers bareback, western, dressage. All the lessons are geared to the rider, imaginative, creative and interesting.
We hold all round activities for everyone, we cater for all disabilities with patience and understanding on safe, bombproof horses and ponies that are trained by instructors and staff on site.
No matter what age or whether a beginner, novice, advanced, intermediate and/or Affiliated we teach to extremely high level. Lessons are constructive and suits our clients purpose.
